Broken Teeth
Broken teeth can inhibit you from smiling, eating, and even living the way you want to. In order to help you regain the function and appearance of your smile, the Colonial Dental Group offers:
- Porcelain Veneers - Thin pieces of porcelain that fit over the front surfaces of your teeth to correct the appearance of chips or cracks, small gaps, stains, or mild crowding. Porcelain veneers quickly provide new shapes and surfaces for front teeth to transform your smile.
- Porcelain Crowns - Porcelain crowns are used for more seriously broken teeth. After the tooth has been cleared of all decay and damage, the crowns are placed over the remaining tooth structure so that you can smile and eat the way you want to.
- Dental Bonding - Dental bonding is a soft white material matched to the color of your teeth. It is permanently attached to your teeth to correct small chips, breaks and cracks, gaps and slight misalignment. It is an alternative treatment to porcelain veneers.
- Dental Implants - When a tooth becomes too broken to be repaired with the above restorations, it may need to be removed. A replacement tooth can be anchored by a dental implant – an artificial tooth root embedded in the jawbone.
If you are in the Glenview or Chicago, Illinois area and would like to learn more about how our experienced dentists can correct any broken teeth, please call or email our cosmetic dentistry office to schedule a consultation.
