What Problems do Porcelain Veneers Fix?
Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of porcelain custom-made to match the color of your natural teeth. They are permanently bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth, covering any aesthetic problems that have been marring your smile. Some of the most common problems we correct with porcelain veneers are:
- Chips and surface fractures
- Mild misalignment
- Slightly misshapen teeth
- Worn Teeth
- Slight crookedness
To begin the porcelain veneers process, you need to first schedule an initial consultation. One of our experienced cosmetic dentists will talk with you to determine exactly what you want to accomplish, and will answer questions. Often times, porcelain veneers are just one option available to you. You may be able to have dental bonding, porcelain crowns, or porcelain fillings placed to improve your smile.
If you are in the Glenview, Illinois area and would like to know more about porcelain veneers, please schedule your initial consultation with the Colonial Dental Group today.

This post is informative. What's also nice about veneers is that it can last for a relatively long time before you need to replace it. It's great to have dentists with extensive experience in veneers!
