How to Prepare for your Consultation
Your cosmetic dentistry consultation is very important for a variety of reasons. It is your opportunity to meet with your new cosmetic dentist, learn about how our office functions, and find out more about the procedures you are considering.
Whether you are thinking about getting porcelain veneers, neuromuscular dentistry, or porcelain fillings to replace your old metal fillings, the initial consultation is the first step.
When you come to our office for your initial consultation, we want you to feel confident in our ability to satisfy you. We will ask you questions about your smile, what you want to correct, and what you would like to see when we are done with our procedures. It may help for you to look at different smiles in magazines so that you can show us pictures of what you'd like your teeth to look like. An initial consultation isn't just a "meet and greet." We will take X-rays of your teeth and perform an oral exam so we can determine how healthy your teeth and gums are and what procedures would be best for you.
